The Best Chicken Marinade

The BEST Chicken Marinade Recipe is so easy and makes the best chicken ever! Loaded with the perfect amount of flavor, this marinade recipe is made with simple ingredients.

We eat chicken a lot in our house. I prefer chicken to red meat, even though I know my husband would disagree. I just love how versatile and easy a chicken recipe is to prepare! Most often, though, we enjoy grilled chicken. And while I love to play around with all sorts of flavors and marinades, I ALWAYS come back to my most favorite…the BEST Chicken Marinade.

Paneer kurma recipe, paneer kuruma

Learn how to make Paneer kurma, paneer kuruma. Paneer in a coconut, cashew, spices, onion, tomato based gravy. Fennel seeds makes the kurma really flavourful that will linger in your tastebuds.I have been making veg makhani with paneer for many days now, being Aj’s favorite. I wanted to make paneer in kurma style which I make usually. I had fresh paneer in stock, so wanted to try kurma for dinner, clicked along for posting here too. I usually skip tempering soambu aka fennel seeds as Vj hates fennel seeds. But I just love the flavour a lot in Brinji and kurmas. it really elevates the flavour of the dish. Just make sure no to use too much. It turned out really good, if you want, you can add on few boiled veggies like beans, peas and carrot. Use good quality soft paneer/ fresh paneer for best results and cut into smaller cubes. Paneer kurma recipe Recipe…

Hot Cross Buns

Hot Cross Buns are a soft, sweet roll made with a sweet icing cross on the top, traditionally eaten on Good Friday in some countries, but they should definitely be enjoyed all year long!
I have partnered with my friends over at Fleischmann’s® Yeast for today’s recipe.

Hot Cross Buns are a treat I grew up eating on Easter morning. I know there are lots of different traditions when it comes to Hot Cross Buns, but I always looked forward to having them once a year.

The 10 Food Destinations We Really Want to Visit in 2019

Come January and we all want the same things: We want to cook more. To exercise more. To call Grandma more, say “no” more, read more. And travel more. Don’t tell my other New Year’s resolutions, but that one is my favorite. Traveling, for me, has never been about sights to see or museums to visit. It’s been about (can you guess it?) food. Tasting fresh maple syrup in upstate New York and slurping raw oysters in Key West, Florida. Realizing, Whoa! This is what carbonara should taste like! in Rome and eating all the patatas bravas in Barcelona. Read More >> …

A Why-Didn’t-I-Think-of-That Way to Fold Fitted Sheets

I actually love folding laundry—when it’s fresh from the dryer, warm and smelling like mountain springs or a clean breeze. I burrow into my toasty pile before sorting through the socks and shirts and sheets. I listen to podcasts as I organize each article of clothing, ready to fit in my closet. It makes me feel cozy and accomplished. That is, unless I’m folding a fitted sheet. Because—despite the fact that this is not rocket science—my attempts to show those rounded corners who’s boss fail. Every. Single. Time. Read More >> …

Pesto with almonds, pesto recipe

Pesto with almonds, no parmesan cheese. Simple and easy pesto recipe that you can make with ingredients available in your pantry also vegan friendly.I never liked basil leaves when we had it in the pizzas we order during our trips abroad. Vj have an aversion of that smell. Even I did not like the strong smell. Once I tried a pesto recipe with spinach, that too was super flop. So I had no courage to try any pesto recipes again. When Sangamitra posted her pesto recipes in her Instagram stories, it was straight forward, so simple and it just pushed me to try it out. I thought after all these years, I should like it as I am liking thai green curry. So ordered ingredients required online. I ordered genovese basil, got sweet basil though. I was determined to try pesto this time, so nothing stopped me.I already made pasta with it and Aj loved it a…
