The Negative Effects of Worrying

The Negative Effects of Worrying

negative effects of worryingIn what seems like a lifetime ago, when I was in the Army, my boss, Sergeant Donald Houton, imparted an amazing piece of wisdom to me about the negative effects of worrying.

First, a bit about Houton.

He was my favorite boss ever and just a great guy who cared.

He was one of the funniest men I have ever met.

I had so much fun working for him.

And although I could go on…

Here’s his bit of wisdom:

He said “It’s silly to worry about things that you can’t control because worrying gives you stress and stress causes ulcers. If you have ulcers you can’t drink beer. And, if you have ulcers and cant drink beer, now that’s something to worry about.”

I’m not sure that stress causes ulcers, but worrying and stress are definitely not good for your health and will lead you towards an unfulfilled life of disappointment, dissatisfaction and unease.

Worrying is an unnecessary downward mental spiral towards a life of crap that many never recover from.

The good news is that it’s not too you do not have to live this life. You can create any life you wish.

And, I’d like to help you get the life of your dreams.

If you want to live your best life, I have a coaching program to help you get what you want the most. Simple apply for a free personal coaching session and I’ll help you start with no obligations.

When you eliminate the negative effects of worrying, then, you can drink all the beer you want – in moderation.
